Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. The husband of a colleague of mine is organizing the 2nd annual Bike for Bones ride to be held on Sat May 19th, 08:00am, rain or shine.

It's a 25 mile ride with a $25 entrance fee ($28 with Active.com fees, although I think you can register the day of too) to benefit the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF).

If you're interested, here's the online registration link:

T-shirts will be given out - not sure of the design but last year's had a skeleton on a bike - kinda cool looking:

Sounds interesting. I just might do this ride. For seven years, I used to work almost right across the road from the professional building.

Sounds fun and for a good cause. And It's only about an hour from me. :D

Grahny... did you ride this last year? I don't know the area. Hilly? Flat? Busy roads?

Thanks,
Gypsy

EDIT:

Ok... just talked to the organizer....

Gentle hills, back roads, little traffic... orange T-shirts with the logo above (except it'll probably say Second Annual).

I plan to ride two loops.

:D

Thanks for the info! I'm going to try to work something out to get that weekend off from work. Sounds like a fun ride. And I like the skeleton logo!
