I would like to have a fork suspension on my Bike Friday New World Tourist,does any one know an alternative to the expensive "GA-force kilo 20" it cost here in Germany 1000€

Action Tec made the suspension forks for some Bike Friday models. I had a custom Action Tec fork built for about US $450. It's a first-rate component:

gruess dich. I have a NWT too and have spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Bike Friday discussing suspension options.
Unfortunately the NWT can't fit the ActionTec like the Llama can. But it's not a great fork anyways because there's no lockout feature. Btw, I don't think the NWT can take ANY suspension forks because the head tube angle was designed for fork rake.
I've installed a Pantour front suspension hub, a softride suspension stem, and a NitroPro suspension seatpost, all of which have made gravel roads bearable. Altho in the future I would rather have a bike with a decent front fork with a lockout.

Yes, the Action-Tec fork uses a 1.25" headset, and needs a special head tube for that. It can't be retrofitted to the NWT.

I do think the fork is great though - it's light and needs no maintenance. It can bob a bit when climbing, but that doesn't bother me. I'd rather have the simplicity than lockout.

I'm a big believer in suspension for small-wheeled bikes, and, for that matter, bikes with big wheels, too!
