I have to admit I wimped out the last week and a half. The temperatures in Milwaukee have been from 95 to 100 degrees and extremely humid. Today was the first day the weather has broken. My commute this morning was in 65 degree temperatures . What a relief. I know those of you in Atlanta and other southern cities are used to this but it really takes it out of me. The humidity is a killer.

I hear ya, it is great here in Madison. Had a fast and fun ride to work today. Biked all last week and it was tough. Glad to have some relief!

Personally I think winter is by FAR the best time to ride. We're having our so-called 'winter' in Queensland at the moment and it's just one perfect day after another. As soon as it's possible, I plan to relocate to a planet where it is winter all year round. :D

The temperature for my commute this morning was a brisk 55 degrees (granted it was 6 am, but still). That's fully half the heat index we had just 4 days ago!

I don't know what I did to deserve this drastic shift, but I'm thankful for it.
