So I'm taking the plunge and getting myself some clip shoes. I know I should have gotten them sooner, but just never got around to it.
Any suggestions on brands? style? Anything I need to know?:(

You mean shoes for clipless pedals right? Make sure they have the screw holes for the type of pedal and cleat you are going to be using. I have a pair of specialized shoes, last years model, that I picked up at a bike store who was clearing them out. Work great. Also depends on what type of riding you are going to do. Racing and competition you might look into carbon soles and lightest weight possible, otherwise just try on a bunch and see what you like.
