o crap here we go kids, is everyone ready to go on a shopping spree. i just found out about a bike shop from a friend, over the phone sounds like he can get me whatever i want, and beat dans comp by a lot. i was ganna go with the intragel bel air but he says he can put me together a hell of alot better bike for less.
from what i can remember, he has a cory matinez fedral fram. eastern ultra light forks. ummmm, any chain wheel i want. and a ton of other we the people stuff marked down cause his holder lost his partners and it all has to be sold sooon!
and i get it
so can we all make suggestions on some good parts to ahve in mind while making this bike into a complete
and does anyone know about that t-nez frame and ultralight fork

The Federal frame is nice.
Stay away from any product by Eastern with the words light involved.
The Fit flow front wheels are just Sun rims and sun hubs. Nothing too special.
Stick with the Integral Bel Air or any one of the Fit Flow's.

ok, so i should stick with the fedaral frame. stay away from the light stuff cause it probly wont hold. anything else i should know about before spending 600-700 bucks on a costome bike

I do beleive what Kinetik is trying to say is "Just get the Bel Air or Fit Flow" as he mentioned. +1 to his idea.

The Bel-Air pretty much is already custom. Just get the Bel-Air. It's more than worth it.

teaching begins at home and parents are not reading to their children...they use the TV as a baby-sitter...and that doesn't help a child learn!
...i'll step off my soapbox

Then get the Integral and a new frame.
It's your money you can waste it if you want. But i would 'bet the farm' you wouldn't have any trouble with that stock frame. Gunz is right he's just trying to get you to buy more stuff.

well i c what u guys are saying to where he wants me to spend more money. but heres the thing. he just lost his we the people holder and i think federal. 2 holders of some kind. so he has a ton of stuff marked alomost 20-50% off because he has to get rid of it. well lets say he can beat dans comp on anything.
so i think im still ganna stick with the bel air to be safe, but im going into his shop today. if i can get a new complete buy scratch for less would it be safe. its a lot of wethe people stuff, federal. and other componets arent too much of a difference.
im just trying to make a good purchase

dammit i just lost my last post
now i ave to rewrite it so its ganna be short
and i agree with what u mean on the frame and how hes trying to get me to buy more stuff. im probly going with the 07 bel air anyways
so he lost 2 of his holders of i think federal and somebody else. he needs to get rid of it quick, so basically its all 20-50% off
he can beat any product on dans comp by a chunk of money, and soo i dont see how i cant build a better bike for less money with all that coming into play
im just trying to make the best purchase possible

Do whatever you want. You're the one who's going to be riding the bike, not us. Get what makes you happy, but keep in mind that when people recommend a product, there's usually a reason for that, and if there's one product that everyone recommends, there's usually a big reason for that.
For instance, Odyssey Jim C. pedals.
