Foo - Heh, just found out someone actually reads my blog

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

K - daylight savings time is on. Start of new season, new group rides, ect... Tonight I didn't have anything going on so I went to a shop that I know has just started their MWF rides. Of course, the Fri ride is the worst attended, and this early in the season like 4 guys show up. But one is a guy I met a couple of times last year. Real nice guy. I go up, shake his hand and ask him how he's been, ect... And then he says "I think I've been reading your blog. You're "Ravenmore" right?". He went on to tell me how he's enjoyed it - me mixing my bike stuff with my "non-bike stuff". Uh, wow. Really? Kewl. :)

I really haven't met anyone before in "real life" who reads my blog. He was very complimentary and it was pretty kewl. I have to admit I was taken aback a little as I didn't expect it, but still its nice to know the "fruits" of my labor aren't totally in vain. Maybe. Perhaps. Just a little.

;)

It can be interesting, that's for sure, when someone recognizes you from your blog! Happened to me in Dodge City, KS last Summer, when a lady walked up to me and asked if I was Tom Stormcrowe and asked for my autograph (I'm not kidding either!) It can be a bit intimidating too!;)

Hehe - that's awesome. You got a bit more going on I think though. ;) Publications have even interviewed you and what not. I think your blogs been featured a couple of times too? I honestly didn't think anyone really read mine. I tend to think of it as more just a writing exersize, so when someone came up to me and said they had been keeping up with it, it kind of suprised me. :)
