Can someone let me know if I need to get a set of barrel adjusters for these levers and if I do where I might be able to get them from. Or do I just need the rubber hoods ?

Thanks in advance

No, you do not need barrel adjusters for these levers - just use "brake lever ferrules" (this is what I call them), which kind of look like little cones that sit on the end of the cable and butt into the squarish hole on the lever....

I had such a delimma. It appears to me a cone shaped 5mm ferrules would pass through the large opening.
Two options; one go to bike parts usa . com they have a large ferrule
"Pyramid Lever Adjusting Barrel O/S 10mm"
That wasn't even large enough for my application so I found stainless Gromets; looks like a washer but concave. Used on camping shelters, punched into the material so you can use a rope to tie down the ends. They come in a million sizes so place one over the opening, the concave edge of the Gromets fit over the edges of the opening, place a 5 mm ferrule in the hole then insert housing and you are off and running. Fit is like a glove.
