I am in the process of training for the Lake Tahoe AMBBR Century on June 3rd.
Unfortunately, 3 days ago, while on a lunch time ride, a lady opened her car door right in front of me. I hit it and severely broke my right index finger (I will have surgery next week to put pins in and/or screws in it) and the doctor does not want me riding on the road for 6 weeks.
He did approve a trainer.
What do I do? I am up to 50+ mile single rides, and at least 15 miles on other days now.
I can't afford to stop for 6 weeks and I also need to keep up hill work.
So, a trainer and DVD's? Which one? Help?
