Thanks for the helmet cam. A bright green bike, a bright pink bike and it looks like there is about as much elevation lost on the decents as there is climbing!! Way to go!

question: why the psuedo euro names? not even sure what language 'ris van' is from? danish? certainly not dutch.
maybe you should call it the "Frusen Glädjé Race Series" :D

heh thanks for the feedback. I took the camera off after Ris and started the P/1/2/3's - felt a difference in weight, but I think I'll keep the cam on. I'm out of contention for the Series and the cam is fun.

Cat 3-4's
Names - since each race is a separate race, we decided to name them differently. Honestly we are not the originators, we copied the Kissena NY series. I put "Tour of Bethel" in a translation site and got Ronde, Ris, and the Kirche name. The others are simply adaptations of some of the euro-pro races. Makes it fun. It's all about fun after all.
Oh I forget where Ris came from. It just sounded cool.

Ah Bethel the little town I grew up in and left in 1987. I remember the little Bethel Bike shop and I used to like to watch the Danbury criteriums. In high school there was a bunch of us that used to be into bike racing. Glad to see they have their own series these days.
