Foo - Decent metasearch engines?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I've used Dogpile for years but lately it's been getting on my nerves. When I run a search for something obscure I have to wade through a page or two of "Sponsored by:" links before I come up with anything interesting. Since I'm mildly opposed to Google (and since it doesn't really work for a lot of the stuff I care about) it's mostly out of the question. There has to be a decent, customizable metasearch engine (like Metacrawler and Dogpile used to be) still out there so help a geek out and caugh 'em up if you please.

I just use either Google (and use filters) or EBSCO Host or JSTOR Archive, or Journalsearch. Mostly academic stuff.
