Tried the AeroDrink in a race. quick. efficient. aerodynamic. wet! Lost the yellow mesh plug pretty quickly and took a bath until I could suck out enough sports drink to reduce the sloshing.

So AeroDrink Users, what do use for a lid? saran wrap, snap on container lid from some other product? I would love to know.

I've used an extra rubber band over the yellow mesh so it doesn't pop out, but it still sloshes........found that the lid off a large container of electrical wire nuts from Home Depot seems to fit...may try that next.

I bought a car wash sponge (mine's red/white marbled) from Walmart. It was shaped kind of like a dog bone. I cut the two "knobs" off of the ends and made two sponge caps for my Aerodrink bottles. I think the sponge cost ~$2.50 and it took about 1/2hr for the whole deal (and I'm anal about the way things look). No sloshing, won't pop out and easily pushed to the side to squirt in fresh liquids. The only real issue is cleaning the sponge, but I only put water in my Aerodrink, so it's not an issue for me personally.

I haven't found anything I like. I keep the yellow thing in sideways in the upper section and don't fill all the way to the top.

Hmmm...very good. I am going to have to try that.

I have the same problem as the OP. It couldn't have been more than 1/2 mile into my first race with it than out popped the yellow squishy thing. I don't think I have used it since.
