I had them setup on my Allez Elite and have been using them for about a 3 -4 weeks.

At first no. They were awkward and even though I got professionally fitted, I found that after a couple of hours riding I was able to get lower and lower and was able to extend further out. I actually kept my allen wrench tool with me when I rode. Now that I'm really starting to get used to them, I do find they help. I'm 260, and have very very broad shoulders, so it makes a huge difference for me to get out of the wind.
