Hi all

I ride currently ride 12km per day to work and have done so for many years mainly due to the fact we only have one car. I also ride with my sons on the weekend along the many great riding tracks we have around town. I'm not a expert nor a racer just your average yob who enjoys a ride ;)

My son is currently restoring an old racing bike he found on a junk pile down the road. It’s a Cyclops Javelin. I have recently been given a much older bike the original stickers tell me it’s an Oxford International. I was wondering if we have any resident experts on the forum that may be able to tell me some more about the Oxford International Bikes. The one I have been give was apparently used for racing but I have been unable to find out more.

Any help appreciated.

Can't help with any info but .... if you go here (http://www.bicycles.net.au) and post your question in the Retro Biking section, there's a couple of people on that forum who might be able to help.

You could also try the vintage sub-forum.

If it is an Australian specific frame the vintage subforum will be next to useless. Another resource would be the Canberra Bicycle Museum (http://canberrabicyclemuseum.com.au/)
