I'm currently thinking about getting into road bikes. I know which Shimano groups are good but have no knowledge of the Campagnolo. I have done a little research on this board and it seems these are in conjunction with Tiagra???? Are these decent components??? This is a bike I will ride approx. 25 miles a day for 3-4 days a week. I don't have a problem with replacing them with 105 or Ultegra later down the road, but for now as a beginner are they decent?? Thanks in advance for any advise.

Crankset: Campagnolo Mirage 53/39
Rear Derailleur: Campagnolo Mirage 8-speed
Front Derailleur: Campagnolo Veloce
Cassette: Campagnolo Mirage 12-23 8-speed
Shift/Brake Lever: Campagnolo Mirage Ergopower 8 speed
Pedals: Shimano SPD M535
Rims: Mavic CXP 10, 32 hole

IMHO Campagnolo is nicer and has greater durability.

If I interpreted your post correctly, this is a used bike you are looking at that has these components.... yes?

Regardless, these are all quality components that will give you good service for your intended use. The parallel of Mirage & Tiagra is about right.
