Trouble posting pix

I've read the how to post picture thread. It's similar to other forums.

However, it's not working for me. The pix come up as links not pix.

When I insert the pictures "http" address in the edit section it will initially come up as ... but after submitting and finding the pictures come up as links I return to edit and find them configured as .... Wierd!

Any help appreciated.

I just looked at the code you had in your post for the pics. I saw two problems:

1. It appears that you were using the http://www.bikeforums.net/images/editor/createlink.gif button instead of the http://www.bikeforums.net/images/editor/insertimage.gif button. If you were wanting the images to be links, you'll need to click the http://www.bikeforums.net/images/editor/insertimage.gif (http://www.bikeforums.net/images/editor/insertimage.gif) to create the image code, then highlight the code that's generated, and click the http://www.bikeforums.net/images/editor/createlink.gif.

2. Photobucket appended numeric code after the image code. When I first edited the quote of your post, the images appeared as links, even though I'd changed the code to be IMG instead of URL. I then noticed that each image had additional info after the .jpg portion (?t=1174165377, for example). I simply deleted it from each image, and they appeared as images.
