Folding Bikes - Bianchi folding bike

Just pur. a Bianchi/Nealeco folding bike. It seems to be very well built but I can't find any thing about it on the web. It seems to have been made by Bianchi in Italy but they don't list any folders on their web site. Wonder if it's discontinued or what. Condition is a 9 out of 10. Paid $100.00

I am pretty sure they don't make them now. The ones I have seen look like Twenty clones, from the 70/80s. Good price though.

Bianchi did produce a Birdy clone (via Pacific) more recently, but that is a very different bike...

I have a Bianchi folder as well. It is a generic "U" shaped folder. It feels like it is made of solid steel, but its just reallllllly heavy. The name that is on the chain guard says Milano, and there is a CA bike liscence from the '70's on it. Kinda cool. It had a sturmey archer 3 speed hub on it, but I swapped it to an aluminum bmx wheel with a coaster brake. Its a great bar bike/critical mass / midnight ridazz / throw it in the back of the car and forget about it kinda bike. The only problem was that the stock seat pin was way to short, so I had a local shop hack it in half and weld in a 10" steel extension. Works fine for me.
Oh, I paid $85 for it originally, sold it to a friend for $80, then he gave it back to me for free after putting on new tires and tubes. He got another bike, and this one was just sitting around. Good deal in my book.

I don't have any pic. but if you Google it (for images) one shows up. When I tried to go to the origin web site of the pic. :D it was under construction with no info.

=v= Not Twenty clones. They have a rear rack brilliantly integrated into the rear frame. Gotta love those Italian designers.

Yes, it looks like a french model, and the bike is nice as well, but i think it's just a photo prop !

I just bought a 1972 bianchi foldinging bike at garage sale for $20.00. I found that it was a promotional bike for cool-aid. Bike sold for 50 dollars at that time;but could be bought for about 30 dollars with upc codes collected.
This bike is purple, other colors orange,red and i think green. It is a single speed with light & generater,20 inch tires,rear rack for bags,chrome chain guard,chrome fenders.
