Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Names on who's browsing each thread?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was just over at Ridemonkey and noticed that at the top of each thread, it shows who's browsing that individual thread. Kinda like the HOME here. Is this a complicated feature? Is it something you/we/us would be interested in.
Personally, I tend to go to "Members" and see who's on and where they are. If it's someone I like, I'll visit as well.

Its already done....the're name <<<<<will turn red is they are on line
If you go towards the bottom of the screen to the Forum Jump options box, you can click on it, and a drop down screen appears. Towards the top of the options of where you can jump, there's a "Who's Online" feature that automatically updates and tells you where all the members are browsing in the forum, including the guests.
You can see which members are browsing the thread they're reading.

Or from the forum home page, just click on "active users"
Such a feature really isn't all that complicated to have, but I don't see the use. In addition, it will increase the number of database querys on each page by at least 1, which in turn would significantly increase the amount of processor use on the server, I don't know if that is available or if it would wind up costing Joe more money to run the forums.
If you go to Who's Online it shows what thread each member (and guest) is reading at that moment. It updates every 30/60 seconds(?).

I'll put that back in. I removed it for better google search engine rankings. The simpler the page, the better listings you can achieve.
