Texas - AustinRoadRiders

Hey all - for better or worse I started a little yahoo group called Austinroadriders (all run together). Its to kind of coordinate locals looking for rides, routes, ect... There are a couple of group rides I do up north during the week and most of the current members are on those rides, but feel free to hop on in to it if you want. If you go to groups.yahoo.com and do a search for austinroadriders it should take you straight to it.

I am a Houstonian but get to Austin quite often. While there, I always ride as much as possible with my brother-in-law and cycling coach Bike Forum: 'Waterrockets'. We alternate doing time trials, Jester climbs, hill repeats and an occasional ATC ride.

I may peek at your forum from time-to-time to get in on some of your rides.

If you are ever in Houston, let's hook up and ride. Anyone who did Tour Das Hugal is ok in my book!

Definitely will do Steve. I was actually in Houston a couple of weeks ago. Didn't have time to ride unfortnately. There looks like there's some sweet riding up north of Houston - like going towards the Lake Conroe area.

Definitely feel welcome to join the group and give us a shout when you're in town. I was going to hit 'Rockets up with a pm to let him know about it too.
