Southern California - SD Velodrome Spring 2007 Swap Meet

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey all, same deal as the Fall swap meet, but the spring one is generally smaller. A great place to get cheap clothes, hard-to-find parts, and bike shop back stock. I bought my 1st roadie, a FS MTB, and miscellaneous knick knacks both times I've gone. It's only $3, so if you don't find anything you can't live without, you're only out three bucks.

Buyers admitted at 9 am...the line starts to form at 8:15 or so, and moves as fast as it takes the cash-taker to take the cash.

ps: Leader Bikes normally has a big booth, CHEAP-BUT-GOOD FRAMES...I'll be eyeballing their 796R full carbon frame.

I guess I'll be the only one there, then. Sweet. All you vultures stay away!

I'll pass the word, I don't really need anything for myself.

Geez man! It's a weekday morning. Everybody was commuting to work and then doing the 1 1/2 hours of work for the day before loafing around on the forums until 5pm.

That's the same day as the special event at John's in Acton. Now I'm torn, but Acton's closer and I could wait until the Encino swap.

Too far away. Anyone know a swap meet in the LA area?

I know of one in Encino. Do they still have one at the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix?
