Hey Spire :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I love bike riding at night with my wife, cause we rule the streets.

Could you please tell me how I can add my own custom avatar? Thanks

Peace.

Ringo

I was from Brooklyn...for the first 36 years of my life. Married a Brooklyn girl in the summer of 2000 and bought a house in Long Beach, NY.

I did a lot of riding on the bicycle path in Marine Park...up to 30 miles a night after work. Sure it is one big circle, but the ever changing scenery made it enjoyable.

Welcome to the forums!

Rob

What's up Black

Nice to meet you, guess we're both new to the bikeforums. My wife and I never been to Marine Park, is it a cool park for riding? This summer we're going to ride all over brooklyn. I'm going to purchase one of those helmet bike camera's from http://www.viosport.com/ to film all the fun.

Peace.

its a cool place to ride if you live in the area but,,,not not worth it to come from a far distance.its not no were near the scale of prospect park or some other parks. the idea with camera is cool. documenting your rides will be nice. I travel alot around brooklyn my self, there is so much to take in. Im sure you and your wife will have a great time.

You are right about that.
Since I lived in South East Brooklyn and had many friends in and around Marine Park, it became a familiar riding place. I would drive there to ride (nothing particularly nice in my neck of the woods) and the parking lot was convenient. Going in circles on a bicycle track/path was never exciting in and of itself, but at least there was a lot of changing scenery and activity around it.
