WTF?
what marketing genius at Unibet let that one slide? It's not even the same color.

I thought the question mark jersey was the jam, personally. I would have loved to find one of those for sale.

I really liked the "?" jersey, too!

Tragic. As sleazy as I find online gambling, the ? jerseys were pretty sweet and definitely caught more attention than this one will. I'd totally buy a ? jersey if I could find one.
It looks like the sort of thing old men with mirrors wear on charity rides.

Clearly the point is that the ? jerseys DID attract more attention to the situation and thereofore to Unibet.com so that could not be a solution in France for ASO if you believe their reasoning for baring the Unibet.com team.
Now lets look at the real reason they are baring the team. Several years ago they went to MrBookmaker.com (now Unibet.com) looking for sponsorship for the TdF and other races and the company turned them down. IMO ASO is now using this fiasco to get back at Unibet.com for that move.

Looks like a cheap club jersey - very poooor.
FWIW I liked the ? jersey, reminded me of the zero boys jersey from the early 80's.

Ridiculous rule. How is online gambling any more evil than dropping money on FdJ or Lotto or ONCE?
(aside from the potential to waste gobs of money over the internet, that is....)
What's next? No more cigarette sponsors for auto racing in the US??? Oh, wait....
The rule isn't about promoting gambling, it's about the French not wanting to promote outside gaming centers.

That one always confused me. If you're going to ban cig adds why not ban booze adds as well? I mean more people die from drinking and driving than they do from smoking and driving. But NASCAR promotes drinking and driving by displaying beer and liquor logos on cars going around in circles at 200 mph. Us dead-brained hicks get mixed signals this way.

Will they still be officially called Unibet for the French races?

It's nice that ASO got the French government to resurrect a law that was passed in 1893 to keep Unibet from competing in their jerseys.

You've never been to a NASCAR race, half the audience is wasted by lap ten.
Army, Navy also advertise there..ripe audience for recruitment. Not a lot of philosophical thinking.

I live outside of Charlotte. I've been to plenty. But, half the population is drunk here by ten ... o'clock. :D
