That sucks. Pictures? Ideas of replacement cranks?

Oh cool, a counter and a table with someone's hand holding a piece of metal in front of it! yay!

Sucks about the cranks... I would get those Wombolts, they seem pretty good.

those silly British with their silly counters

FitRider 921

Why would you buy FSA cranks in the first place?

I know i don't have much room to talk since i have Primos but they are holding up.
I still want some Profiles though.

FSA makes some really good ones for mountain bikes. My V-drives are still going strong after like 2 years, where the crappy truvativ stock ones would get loose after like one day of riding, and they flexed too much.

Not that I ride that bike all the time, but it's still nice to have those on there... I did break the chainring though, need to get another one.

All right, everyone else doesn't like the counter and table, but the table's quite interesting. Is that real stone?

Back to the topic. I'm glad I wasn't riding your bike when the crank snapped...it looks as if it could have had potentially unpleasant consequences.

1. I've heard wombolts crack

2. I have explained this before but the reason i got the cranks was that i swapped them for my Fit cranks and i got £15 ($30?) out of it. The Fit ones then cracked on the guy who bought them a couple of months ago.

3. It's a Granite counter. Expensive stuff

4. Wasn't tooo bad, i didn't even bail, i just landed and my cranks were at right angles to eachother

premiumbmx2005

fly cranks all the way

fixed.

ftw.

It's beautiful. I was curious, because I don't think any of my relatives have anything like that, and they are all quite posh (unlike yours truly)--especially the lot who live in Wales.

4. Wasn't tooo bad, i didn't even bail, i just landed and my cranks were at right angles to each other

Consider yourself lucky. With my luck I probably would have broken something, or lost some teeth... .

Give me money and i'll get some fly's then

FitRider 921

I'll take some money as well.

get some 41 thermals. you won't break them

FitRider 921
03-24-07, 05:42 PM
Those are expensive too. Also, last time I checked, they were only like $10 less than Wombolts, so I think the Wombolts are more than worth the extra $10.

FuzzyRyder

Wombolts don't come with a BB.

KinetikBiker
03-26-07, 07:22 AM
I agree with Mude. Profiles all the way. Wombolts and Fly's are okay but Profiles look the best and are clean and simple.

FitRider 921
03-26-07, 08:41 AM
I would take Wombolts and Flys over Profiles any day.

eightdip
03-26-07, 08:42 AM
Flys > Profiles > Wombolts

Wombolts look really ugly with that plastic cap.

FuzzyRyder
03-26-07, 10:17 AM
I like the wombolts best, the only thing I'd run from fly are the rueben tires which I plan on getting. And that brake if I ran brakes.

FitRider 921
03-26-07, 10:36 AM
I'd run the Fly Cranks and the tires... but that's it from Fly. I don't trust their rims.

eightdip
03-26-07, 02:44 PM
Rims on the front. I hate their bars now, really small. Their brake is amazing, i've got one but i don't run it. I very much want the cranks and tires but I can't afford them :(

premiumbmx2005
03-26-07, 02:59 PM
i would run almost anything from fly other than the bars just because theyre so small.

eightdip
03-26-07, 03:02 PM
I would never ride a pantera. 2 of my friends have got one, both of them have cracked theirs. Although they have the 04 or the 05 version

premiumbmx2005
03-26-07, 03:24 PM
3 of my friends had panteras and all of them shred. nothing happened yet.

I'd ride Fly bars in a jiffy.

contradictory?

haha anyways, i think they were all 05 and now another guy has a pantera v2. holding up fine.

FitRider 921
03-26-07, 05:21 PM
No, I didn't contract myself... although now that I think about it, I would rock the Mosca frame as well.

03-26-07, 05:22 PM
I'll trust any part from fly.

FitRider 921
03-26-07, 05:23 PM
I don't... I just don't like many of their parts that much. I did consider their bars a few times though.

I_Suck_At_BMX
03-26-07, 05:36 PM
Their tires kick ass.

but seriously, you dont wanna hang out with me for like an hour and a half?

FitRider 921
03-26-07, 07:27 PM
I would if you were in my area. I can't go to Manhattan by myself or anything... nor would my parents be willing to take me to see someone... they would think I was gay.

I doubt WTP has ovaries. And if he does...that's some weird **** yo.

I like Profiles the most but Fly has some nice cranks out. The Wombolts are great too but have that big ridge thing that looks like death to my ankles at the top where the spindle is.

I'm going to be getting some good condition DK chop sticks off a friend though. They are still straight just have a little paint wearin' off but no big deal. Hollowbites hurt my feet on tables because of their squarness at the top. No good.
