I was wondering if anyone else experiences this? Today 4 people yelled at me from their cars. Three were from a very jammed highway in different locations, and one was while I was crossing a light. I had the right away. Anyway just wondering if anyone else experiences this abuse... I'm just trying not to think of it very much, thanks

I just come back for Orange Co. Calif, I was surprised to see how rude the drivers were, very few bicycles or motorcycles, Drivers ruthless, yelling honking at pedestrians or anything in their way, mad me think a whole lot better of Utah drivers.
Here in Utah I have never have had any rude jesture or remark,,,,,, yet.

For me, the incidents of "abuse" or just flat endangerment from drivers seems to be directly proportional to the number of drivers on the road. I grew up in a part of upstate NY where there was very little traffic and (off the top of my head) can't remember any incidents. But when living in & near Boston it was the worst. New England (w/ the exception of Vermont and western Mass) is 10x as backass as the south & the traffic and accents are even worse. But instead of driving pick-up trucks they drive SUVs, Lexus', etc. and are all stressed about getting to their kids soccer game or church. Northest New Jersey was bad too (worked & bike commuted there for 2 months).
The occasional verbal abuse is no big deal, but I get pretty steamed when drivers deliberately put me in danger. I've read posts on this forum where people have taken pics of offeding drivers license plates and have reported the plate #s to the authorities w/ varying results.
