Hi everyone,
I've been a member here for a while now, but haven't done my Introduction yet, so I guess it's about time.
I'm a 22 year old male from Ontario Canada. Lately (ie. the last couple of weeks) I've been biking back and forth to work (almost) every day. I have no car, so need to get there somehow, and I dislike relying on other people for rides. Anyway, it's about a 10km commute, and takes me about 25 minutes. I'd say about 1/4 of the route is on crushed gravel trail (part of the Trans Canada Trail), and the other 3/4 are on city streets (some of which are quite busy).
I also enjoy cycling on the country roads around my area. I don't do long distances (30km is about my avg ride) but might start doing longer rides in the future. I'm also considering joining a local club to do some rides.
My ride is a 1999 Trek 820, pretty much stock, but I've added a rear fender. I've been considering clipless pedals as well, but haven't sprung for those yet.
My main interests are wilderness canoe trippping and camping. I have an extensive website on this topic, which you can see at http://www.oxford.net/~davecope/outdoors/
You can find more info. about me on that page as well (probably more than anyone needs to know...). I'm currently a student, and attend the University of Waterloo. I'm studying Geography, with a focus on GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
What more do you need to know..? Any more questions, feel free to ask!
