I'm trying to find out a bit more about these bikes, as I may have the chance to nab one.

I haven't seen it, but it was originally pink, yellow, and blue (?), each main tube a different color. I don't think it's the '89 Lemond model with the crazy gussets.

Basically, I want to know if there were any krappy TT bikes that Bottecchia put out, though I should be able to tell by the lugwork once I see it. Any idea on the tubing? Pics or links?

Also, it's supposedly 58cm ctc top tube. Any guesses as to the virtual tt measurement?

Thanks all.

I don't know about Bottecchia, but a Pinarello Prologo didn't make reserve at $810 a while back. It was pretty sweet. I think it would be a hard bike to sell, not very comfortable and not as good as a modern for racing. Hope this helps.

Nothing, eh?

I was told that the front wheel is a good ol 700C, so it's a little more "normal" than the Pinny Prologo.

It's got a Velbec (sp?) 6 speed disc rear, and chorus front, both tubular. I was told there was a lot of Campy chorus on this baby, save for Shimano clipless road pedals, Profiie bullhorns, some kind of bar-end brake levers.

I'll probably go for it, as it may be my size (though I need another bike like I need another hole in the head...)

The only major problem is that it's been repainted, and I have no idea as to the paint quality/
