I am not a fan of that style, either. If you want a BMX bike, get a BMX bike. That said, whatever makes people happy is fine with me.

Wrong. What makes the majority happy on BFSSFG is RIGHT!

Gee I dunno. I really think if I saw one on the street, I would just laugh, and maybe think to myself "Oh gee that is silly.... So silly."

aeropsokes, riser bars, and 60 inch gears just make so much sense together!

Yeah, too bad no current BMX bike is made in such color. Anyways, those colors are pretty sweet, maybe 11 bikes color coordinated like that would be over kill..but a few I wouldn't see a big deal.

ummm i don't get it.

Back in the 80's, BMX involved a lot of neon anodized parts. And neon mag wheels. So, now you have a bunch of dudes in their 30's who are feeling nostalgic for their first BMX but find track bikes to be more their size and style.

It's all for nostalgia's sake. I don't really like it that much, but I'm certainly not hating.

They look cool.

I'd ride one, but not for $X,XXX or however f ucking much they are.

I don't see how they are BMX inspired. They also have "steal me" written all over it.

I don't think you would have said this if you had not read the comments at the bottom of the web page.

Why can't you just speak your mind? You know you want one.

I'd put a bunch of black lights on mine, so when I ride at night I'd look even more like the f ucking $hit...

If you took those bikes, painted them black with maybe some celeste accents, got rid of those ghastly decals, and put some drops on them, they might be ok.

they need to start selling the anodized cranksets.

i saw these in person last week. they look ok from 6 feet away but as soon as you get up close you see the paint is crap. one of the neon green radial laced phils had the paint peeling off at every spoke hole. i saw one of the hubs in the display case and the threads looked poorly chased. the aerospokes looked like they had half a coat of paint on them. i can't imagine how fast the paint would rip of the cranks. i like the idea of repainting and branding bikes, but the quality level on these was pretty low. who has that pista on velospace with the hand painted bianchi logo? that's how the **** you do it!

they're being sold as complete builds and aren't that expensive. they're great in person--but tiny.

i thought it was a pretty creative idea. i really like how they kept the logos pretty true to the original 80's bmx logos. besides, these were just for a show, so its not like they're gonna be mass produced like that or anything. i'd buy one, never ride it, then flip it on ebay in like 2 years for $$$$$$$.

Those could use some unicorns and more rainbows, seriously you would get your A-- kicked if your bmx looked like that back in the day.

Weak. That's really disappointing...how come they didn't just get proper anodizing or at least powder coating?

i think they're just showpieces and the hubs showed how poorly the paint held up through the lacing process. if anyone got one of these with the intent to ride it they're gonna be pssed off really soon.
