So there I was out on my usual route today. As I come off a small hill here in New England I see another person just beginning the next hill about 200 yards in front of me. I figure I'm new to this cycling thing so why not challenge myself and see if I can catch this person and maybe even pass him on the hill. Challenge excepted, start cranking, never imagined I would catch up. Low and behold, I'm now riding next to this 10-11 year old on a BMX bike who seems to have a challenge of his own-not to let me pass him!!! I finally manuevered around him and passed him. Victory???
