What is your vehicle in this shot? Is that "praying mantis" style steering?

Too bad you didn't get the lead DF guy's face -- it would have been sweet to see what he thought of you passing him lying down while he's honking the bars...

That was on my Baron. It would have been no contest, but with my right hand holding the camera I couldn't upshift from my 58/15. And of course I couldn't pull on the bars much either. The lead guy sort of expected it; I ride with these guys a lot. I get them on the sprints, they get me on the hills. That's why they started their sprint while I was digging out my camera: they thought they could get me that way. The guy at the rear remarked afterward, "Gee John, if I knew you were recording it, I'd have made a smart remark when you went by." :)

edit: Oh, and yes the Baron has tiller steering, a.k.a. praying hamster/praying mantis.
