I just got back into cycling because I'm wanting to start training for triathlons. Our community just opened up a new facility with an indoor pool, so I figured now is as good as time as any.
Anyways, I've been riding for about 3 weeks now. Short distances just to get back into it, anywhere from 6-10 miles so far. Well, today I took an 8 mile ride and the wind was blowing against me on my 4 miles back. About a 15 mph wind with gusts to 25-30 mph. Wow, that's my first battle against a wind like that. I had moments where I was barely moving. I never dreamed wind would have that much of an impact.
