Hey fellow Foosters.
I just got back from Mazatlan Mexico and thought I would share some pictures.
This is from the balcony of our condo.

I was just in Mazatlan for a day a couple weeks ago on a cruise. It seemed like a really nice place.
I did the Pacifico Brewery tour. All the beer you can drink on the bus on the way there, tour the brewery, go up to the brewery's bar for an hour, more all you can drink beer, then a 60 minute city tour with more all you can drink beer. I only drank 7 beers, but the college guys on the tour had at least 17 each. It was funny watching them all drunkenly dash for the bathroom at the pit stop. Good times.
My only gripe about Mexico in general is that you can not walk down the street without people constantly trying to sell you stuff. Gotta do what you gotta do to survive, I guess. Other than that, I really enjoy Mexico. I have been to Cancun, Cozumel, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo. I have never had a bad time in any of those places. The people are really nice, especially if you can speak some Spanish. I did go to Tijuana once, would never go back.
I was surprised to see so many cars with California and Nevada plates down in Puerto Vallarta. I would never have the balls to attempt that drive.

Yep, it's hard to buy a Dos Equis in Pacifico land.
We give the annoying sellers of junk and condos tons of guff. At first it was a pain, but now it's no problem. I've only been to Mazatlan and PV. We've talked about Canun sometime in the future.
