Foo - A wooden automobile

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I came across THIS (http://home.clara.net/peterfrost/tryaneii.html) while researching info for my kayak hobby.
Just cool looking, and it gets 75mpg.

Geez, when you wax that, I guess you need floor wax!
I am sorry sir, but your car has termites. Nothing we can do for it here at the garage, might try next door at the exterminators.

If I'm not mistaken, Morgan's once had wood frames.

Indeed they did for a brief time, but then they moved over to Ford frames I believe.

That's hot.
And a little disturbing when you think about how long it must've taken.
It would seem wooden amphibian cars are a thing in Venice.

I just found the image, I'm betting the same guy made both cars.
I think those are actually boats and not cars. Do they operate on land, too?
