One thing I would add, because it is a series and does not nessesarily show up on those sites, is Wells Ave., which, in my opinion, is the best place in Eastern Mass. to try racing if you have never raced before.

I have actually not been out there yet this year, I did not see the road the last two mornings, but I assume they are probabaly pretty carful when it comes to there being ice on the road.

BTW, I have been lurking over on the SS+FG side and I saw that a bunch of you guys were going to head out there. Has anyone been yet? I am kind of interested to see other opinions about Wells compared to the quasi-drome in Londonderry. I actually think the C race at Wells is a little tougher then the B class in Londonderry (or at least my results would indicate that), but I also think I have done a pretty piss poor job racing at Wells, so I might be giving it more credit then it deserves.

i'll let you know how the D at well's compares to the B's at londonderry after this sunday. ^_^ i'll out myself here as a noob as i've never raced road before. i did relatively well in the B's at the ghettodrome in londonderry and am way excited to start racing crits.

Maybe they changed things this year, but every time I was there last year the D was for women and young kids, so you might look a little out of place.

I would race the C, obviously no guarantees, but based on where you were at in Londonderry, I don't think you would have any trouble hanging in the pack (they almost should not call Wells a crit, because since it only has one real corner, that is not even that tight, it races more like a road race). As far as where you finish, that mostly has to do with being in the right position at the last corner, and having a decent sprint.
