Just wanted to give some kudos to Darcy at Pacific Bicyles on 4th in San Francisco. I just bought a set of rims and found that one aero spoke was bent. So I called and they said it'll be about $28 to replace for parts and labor. No prob. So I bring it in today and Darcy takes my wheel.
While I wait I walk around and drool over the cool bikes and gear... when he finishes he shows me the wheel and said he didn't have a spoke in stock but he was able to straighten it out for me. I swear I couldn't even tell which spoke it was. And the best part... he only charged me $10!!!
So I wanted to just give my LBS a nice little shout out. They are always really friendly and helpful even if I just walk around to look at their shop while on a lunch break.
