how do i make it to where this forum cannot subscribe me to threads?

i'm tired of getting e-mails from this forum. why am i being subscribed to threads? i did not choose to be subscribed to them.

Go to User Control Panel (upper right corner)
On the right side of the Control panel, you'll see "Settings and Options"
Click on "Edit Options"
You should see " Messaging & Notification "
Go to "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
Change that to "Do not subscribe"
Go to the bottom of the page, and hit "Save changes"


That should make it stop!
