Bicycle Mechanics - Are the external BB of the Ultegra 6600 sealed bearings?

I am pretty sure they are (together with the 7800 and the 5600 series) but then again I have been wrong before.

So are the external BB of the Ultegra 6600 sealed bearings?

They are cartridge bearings.

If you are feeling "frisky", you -can- pop the seals out and repack them. I've done it. No problema.

Thanks,...I knew it was sealed bearings just wasn't 100% sure. These 6600 are just a beauty to behold! I love em after changing from FSA Gossamer. I asked because a mate of mine thought they weren't and I read somewhere in cycling news that it is but couldn't find it.
