Introductions - New person from Southern Ontario

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey all,
Thought I would introduce myself. I've been riding for 8 years now 5 seasons of mtbing and going into the 3rd season of road riding. Switched to road because of a back injury. I now love the road...I guess i am a speed demon. It's great my husband is my riding partner that is always there to ride with. We've set our lives up to ride after work...Wake up early to get to work early to get home and ride the bike..hehehe...

Hello Shelly, it sounds as if you've got a great relationship there, both with your husband and your bike!
You might want to check out the Eastern Canada regional forum, and also, if you're interested, there is a Women's forum.
If you'd like access to the Women's forum, just send a PM to anyone with a blue star by their name, but snowy, lala, donnamb, and Shadiyah in particular...
Welcome to BF!

Welcome, I have relatives in Copetown and have cycled around Dundas area many times. I have used the Hamilton - Cambridge rail trail several times when I,ve been touring around southern Ontario. Always seems to rain whenever I ride the rail trail with a loaded bike, but it is a great 72kms of quiet riding.
