Commuting - Kitty foiled my commute

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Five minutes before departure time this morning, I was collecting my commuting gear when I discovered my leg straps were missing. I always hang the straps from the handlebar, and I can only assume my cat found them to be a fun toy. I spend about ten minutes this morning unsuccesfully searching the house for the missing straps. By the time I gave up looking it was too late to bike and I had no choice but to take the car.
That darn cat.
That darn cat.
That was a good one.:roflmao:  :D
Peace.

My cats do the samething, but my leg straps are just rubber bands, so if I loose one, i don't worry about (my cats don't eat the rubber bands) and I just grab a new one from my big box of rubber bands.

I have used many kinds of eyeglass straps to keep my glasses on my head, but one of the best I've used so far is three rubber bands tied together with tiny loops in the ends (these are easy to stretch, not the thick ones.) Still, since these don't last, it's easier to use commercial straps and not have to re-make them from rubber bands. But at least I know how to do it, and it only takes about 3 minutes to make one.
The cat must be punshed for his insubordination...
