Howdy! I'm new to this forum, but I've been lurking a bit. Pretty good info here. I plan on competing in triathlons this year, and I just bought my first road bike. It's a cheapy, but it's all I could afford at the moment being a broke college student.

hey, i am from college station, tx as well, looking into getting a bike soon, and most likely thinking a cyclocross but im still not sure, and it will have to meet my budget needs as a college student too

Hello nimble, as a college student you may want to check the local Craigslist. I've heard tell that sometimes the security departments of the college gather up the abandoned bikes at the end of the year, and put them up for auction. You might want to check into that.
