80's punk rock help.

[El Diablo Rojo]

Okay so I'm sitting down watching 'The New Scooby Doo' with my kids last night and on comes a song that I just loved from the early 80's. It's by a French Punk band and I only know the lyrics, this is what they sound like to me phonetically. "Sim bam boom moi, Sim bam boom moi" then repeat and repeat. Does anyone have a clue to the name of the song or the group.

It's funny you mentioned your kids. We have it on a Virgin Music compilation disc and it's one of my three-year old's favorite discs. Maybe not that song, but "I Want Candy" by Bow Wow Wow and some others. I often call my wife Eighties Girl and she's rubbing off on our little one.

I just downloaded Plastic Beltrand and my 4 year old and six year old girls are completely rockin' out. I was pretty blown away last night to hear this on Scooby Doo of all places. Thanks for the help guys!
