Mushrooms don't have eyes, they can't look at you at all. It is just the psilocybin causing you to think the mushrooms are giving you dirty looks. It will pass.

And for ME

I can spend days hunting for chanterelles in the fall, and it's a great feeling to come home with a couple bags full to enjoy in soup, gravy and with anything! YES, more for us Donna!

I believe that should be Mycologist.

Besides Spanish Fly is derived from a type of mushroom. Unfortunately for humans the effective does is close to the lethal dose.

Those chantrelles taste really bad to me, I love the Shaggy Maines (sp) Inky Caps and tree fungus that looks like lace.
My brother hunts them and I eat them. By the way I let a basket full of Chantrelles rot away because they tasted so bad. :)
