I dont know how it got so jammed, but the bolt is slowly stripping and ive only managed to get it to turn 1mm if that.

Is it possible to grind off the crank arms with a disc grinder at the BB axle, or would a shop have the neccesary skills to get this thing off?

The non-drive side is off, is it possible to remove the bb that way?

I responded to your question in the other thread, I was concerned when you used the term "bolt" in that thread that you were working on removing the crankarms and not the bottom bracket. Now, as far as I can tell, you've confirmed this with this question. So first, forget about the bottom bracket threading as we discussed earlier, this has nothing to do with removing the crankarms. It sounds like what you're trying to remove is the crank bolt, which will have normal threading and has nothing to do with the bottom bracket threading, so don't turn it clockwise to try and remove it. Beyond that, I suggest you go to a bike shop and have them remove everything for you, maybe they will let you watch, show you what tools are necessary, etc., and you'll know how to do it yourself next time. The bike in the photos you linked to in the other thread looks like a nice bike, I highly recommend you not hack around on it. Go to a shop and get some help. Good luck- :)

I guess I learned the proper name for that. I also learned I just SUPER tightened that crank arm bolt. Im going to drop it off at a bike shop and have them do it for me now though. I just hope they can remove it and not over charge for my messup.
