Advocacy & Safety - Who are the moderators? and how do I PM them?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Any member with a blue star. Go to the main page and at the bottom you will see a list of names. Click on any of the blue starred names and you will get that mods contact options.

So stars next to names are mods? What do the colors indicate - the mod pecking order?

No. All moderators have blue stars. Red stars are members that have upgraded their membership. (made a $25, one-time donation)

So are all the mods also members? I've often wondered that.

While possible to get a blue star before a becoming a redstar member, it is quite unlikely. Anyone willing to donate enough time to the forum to be a mod, has likely also been willing to donate a few dollars to its upkeep. :)

OP - hope you got your issue resolved by a mod already, if not, feel free to pm any one of us. :)

Right here, waiting for you to come pick it up.
If you want to send the $20 shipping cost, that would be OK too.
