Hello!
Just an introduction as I will be getting to know the touring forum a little bit better. I have just recently gotten into touring and I am hooked. While hiking the Pacific Crest Trail I met a long haul bike tourist and we hiked together for a few days and she planted the seed in my adventure addicted life. So after my hike ended I bought a used bike and rear panniers send my backpack home and then road down the west coast, a great ride. I have next winter off(am working in organic agriculture) and am gonna be gearing up for a serious tour somewhere(4 months off) and will be doing rides around the philly area and looking to upgrade my bike away from alum to steel, as I can feel this little alum bike(Marin-Novato) is gonna snap with my new front panniers althoug did fine on the west coast. So just a hello, see ya in the touring forum and possibly in the philly area bike shops.
