I don't know that I want to know exactly how out of condition I really am.

Dr David Mitzner, David Brinton, and a Dr. Combs put on a seminar preliminary to last years Solvang Prelude on RMR and some related topics. They were quite helpful and, as I recall, were quite willing to assist anyone in determining training threshholds and nutritional evals. for very reasonable rates. Dr. Mitzner and Combs are both M.D.s who are experienced cyclists, and you may have seen some of Dave Brinton's ads for his cycling clinics.
