Mountain Biking - nice glove

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

i was thinking about getting the fox racing sidewinders or digits, what do you think?
Gloves are definately decided by preference. One glove isn't going to do much better than another. Me, I like the ones that cover your hands. I'm kind of picky about that.
I have two pairs of gloves:
Performance road fingerless
Oneal dirt bike full hand
I like the Oneals because they have very good ventilation and are MUCH more comfortable than the Performance ones, esp. on long rides. I've crashed once with the Oneals and they kept my hands in once piece while I shed other parts of my body. :p
Anything Fox makes is bound to be top notch. I've been nothing but impressed by their stuff. One of the few companies I have no problem full endorsing. Almost everything I wear on the bike is Fox.
I heard Fox is made by the same company that makes Team Mechanix gloves. They seem to be the most economical gloves out there for auto mechanics. I've never tried them, but hey, all those car mechanics can't be all wrong....maybe
Honestly.. they make really top notch stuff. I haven't ridden their Forx yet, but I'm thinking about replacing my HeadShok on my bike with a Fox fork.
I love my Sidewinders. I save them for the trail though.

Just FYI, Fox Racing (clothes, gloves, gear) is not the same as Fox Suspension (Fox Forx, rear shocks..etc.)
But both companies produce top notch products.
Regarding the gloves, I've got some kinda of mild glove fetish. I own like 10 pair. My favorites are by far the Fox Racing brands. Here's a list of some of the others I have in order of favoritism:
1. Fox (3 pair)
2. Answer (2 pair)
3.Cannondale
4. Pedro's
5. Pearl Izumi
6. I actually own some Mechanix gloves, but haven't tried them on the bike!
If I were getting another pair, I'd get another pair of Fox Racing gloves.
BTW, old pairs are great for doing yardwork in. Beats the heck out of those cheap work gloves you get for $5.00 from Home Depot!

I agree, Fox gloves are great. I wear the Mojave, which has 2/3 fingers.

i just got a pair of Fox Digit gloves, i was looking at them and the sidwinders myself and opted for the Digit becuase it fit MY hands better. Mainly its about fit and comfort. remember thay will stretch a little so if its loose or not snug now it will only get worse. But i gotta say i like the Digits i got (ecept not having a sweat cloth)
