Hello There,

I have a set of Sugino RD cranks and I'm curious if I can use them as a double. They're stocked with one chainring, but you can put the chainring on the outside or the inside. So. Could I get longer chainring bolts and run two rings on these cranks? Oh, they have 130mm spacing.

Thanks!

I have a set of rd's and yes you can..all the rd's are is a converted double...even the lip for the extra chainring is still on....

just use a longer chainring bolts and you should be good to go

all the sg rd's are is a road double with the smaller ring left off, for the ss/fg crowd

Sweet man, thanks! I was a member of the ss crowd, but there are too many hills around here and I just don't have the strength to turn over steep gears.
