$20,000 for a contrabass flute is a steal, my friend. Most professionals are packing C concert flutes that cost that much or more, and are one-quarter the size.

I record a 'cellist regularly who has an instrument valued at over $200,000. It's nice...but I'd rather have a bike.

Musical instruments can get expensive when you are going for the pro level. For example, its not uncommon to pay $8000 for a quality keyboard.
