frame too small?

hey. i'm 5'6" on a 50cm KHS flite 100. 50 c-c was advertised as a 53 when i bought it bc is 53 c-t. anyway it feels a bit tight. bars are a few inches lower than saddle which i guess is pretty normal for a track bike? it's about the same height as my road bike but probably a good inch shorter in the top tube.
just wondering if this is normal. i hate to put a riser stem on it because i dont like the look of that. i currently run drop bars but maybe a riser bar would help make it a bit more comfy?
just curious how tall you are and what size you ride

why not just try it out and see if you like it?

get a longer stem to offset for the shorter TT, and possibly riser bars as well.

Before you start fiddling with it or dropping money on different parts, simply go to a local shop and ask them if there are problems with the bike's fit for you. Super easy.
