This place is REALLY GREAT!! I'm so glad to find it online.

New on the road last year. Rode my wife's old Trek Mountain Bike all over the place.

This year I'm getting a new Specialized Allez Elite. It rocks!!!

Anyone here have any experiences on an Allez??? It's not paid off yet, so the sale isn't completed (for any bad experiences).

It's a 2006 model so I'm picking it up for $999. Even at 3 hundred off, I'm still wincing at the price.

Thinking about triathlons this summer and doing my first century this fall.

Welcome to the board. I'll be up your way come late spring, I do some fly fishing up there! Would offer to go on a ride with you while there but... well, I'll be too drunk and busy fishing ;)

Hello RoRo, if nothing else, that Allez Elite will make the triathlons and centuries a bit easier :D . Whereabouts are you in Michigan (other than being north, that is)? There are quite a few members from Michigan.

Welcome to BF!

Here is the way I justify my cycling purchases. Think of them not as an expense, but rather as INVESTMENTS in oneself. Okay, that may be bull, but it usually works for me!
