If it's not a mountain bike, I don't care. :p Just kidding, I'm sure it's a nice bike...

I saw a Moots post in the Road Forum from her. Since she's posting in the Road Forum, she is now officially a Roadie.

The thing that is throwing me off is she thinks we will give her grief over her choice. She did say it had 105 components with open pro wheels. Not bad!

What it is, really, is that I went way overboard for a first r.......for a new bike. I spent more than I should have and I'm sort of regretting it. I really like it though and it's nice but I should have spent the money on other things.

If the bike fits you, is equipped well (which it is btw from your list) and it isn't going to keep you from paying the rent, then don't second guess yourself. It may be a bit high end for a first bike, but you know, who cares? Its not like this is your first bike, just the first one with skinny tires. :)

Actually, I have a picture somewhere when my daughters were about 4, the next door neighbor's daughter was 3. They all had identical big wheel trikes and had a great time together on them.

If the square wheel, then Pheard won't have to get a matching bike!

I already guessed a Glorius from Rivendell and got shot down in flames. I'm not guessing anymore, other than to guess that she, unlike a certain other Fooster, won't neglect the rim tape. :p
